A Dream Like a Dream

A recently graduated doctor asks her terminally ill "Patient No. 5" to tell his story. The tale weaves through the stories of others, in other places and times, alternating between reality and dreamscape. After a journey through the lives of many characters, each who has a complex story to tell, the story moves from Hong Kong to France, to Shanghai and Shanghai past, to France past, finally returning to where it all began.
