How many times must a lie be repeated before it becomes true? The pretentious Michael has been having an affair with Alice, the wife of his good friend Paul, for six months.
 
Michael smugly thinks he can control the situation through one ridiculous excuse after another, naively believing that his wife Laurence will never detect the clues, and that his old friend Paul will never suspect anything.
 
Until the guilt-stricken Alice decides to confess everything to Paul.  At the same time, Paul confides to Michael that his wife might be having an affair ... They are on the brink of disaster!
