Artist
YU Hon-ting
Yu graduated from the School of Drama, The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, majoring in directing. He founded Drama Gallery in 1998, and the troupe is currently funded by Hong Kong Arts Development Council. Yu won Best Script for Drama Gallery’s nitehawk at the 22nd Hong Kong Drama Awards. He also won Best Supporting Actor (Comedy/Farce) at the 6th and 25th Hong Kong Drama Awards.
Yu founded DG Black Box Theatre in 2012 and created numerous black box productions, in which Life is a Struggle……Fight it! received nomination for Best Script at the 9th Hong Kong Theatre Libre, and deadline joined the 4th Beijing International Women Festival as the opening performance.
Yu is currently the Artistic Director of Drama Gallery, a veteran playwright, director, actor, organiser of theatre programme and education.
