Founded in 2014, Theatre Formula is formed by young artists, arts administrators, and supporting members from various industries. 
 
The group targets to explore the possibility of theatre, by putting different artists, themes and performing styles together, as the group name suggests, establishing a formula in the theatre. 
 
Past productions include “Ping Pong” sport-theme-production, “Don Quixote on a Nervous Planet” mental-health-theatre, “The cabinet under the stove” adaptation of an actual local murder, “Best Before” musical, “The Attic” translated play, and reading theatres of original script. Invited by Po Leung Kuk and the internet radio channel Dynamix, the group also had a production “Gerbera under the Bridge” to discuss the inclusion of minorities.
