LOVE/SICK by John Cariani
LOVE/SICK by John Cariani

// Love is a sickness — but perhaps we have the cure. //

Love arrives in a sudden impulse.
It startles us with quiet surprises.
Love lets down its guard.
It does not lie.
It does not grow dull.
It does not leave the heart starving
or the days carefully over-planned.

Love is something that refuses to wither.

And yet, somehow,
parting often feels like destiny.

Nine encounters.
Nine relationships.
Nine love stories, each a little love-sick in its own way.

Come with us—
let us fall deeper into love,
until love becomes our sweetest illness,
and the more we ache,
the more we love.
