Envoyage Artist Collective
Envoyage Artist Collective was founded in 2025. Our members — Curtis Yuen, Surman Woo, Shandi Leung, and Stephy Yeung — were all born and raised in Hong Kong. Guided by the vision of “Revisiting Tradition, Constructing the Present, Curating the Future,” we embrace a practice that transcends any single artistic role. Through collaborative and egalitarian creation, we continue to sail across Hong Kong’s vast artistic sea. We hope that the encounters forged along our artistic journey will resonate with ever more audiences — for in Hong Kong, we share a vessel shaped by a hundred years of destiny.

“Revisiting Tradition, Constructing the Present, Curating the Future.”

Revisiting Tradition: Beginning with the study of theatre history, we seek to understand the trajectories of contemporary Hong Kong and global theatre, while documenting the evolving landscape of Hong Kong’s theatre scene through printed publications.
Constructing the Present: Taking dramaturgy as our method, we emphasise close collaboration within the creative team, crafting a distinct worldview for each production and responding to the thoughts and emotions of the communities in which we live.
Curating the Future: Through salons and workshops, we explore avant-garde and interdisciplinary artistic ideas, broadening the horizons of theatre and the wider arts community, and pursuing artistic practices that reach beyond established boundaries.
