The Circus Theatre Group, established in 2008, is a registered non-profit theatre company. Members include graduates from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, drama instructors, and freelance theatre workers.
 
The Circus Theatre Group believes that theatre exists not merely to entertain and amuse, but to purify the bodies and minds of actors and audiences alike, so as to re-open a dialogue with their inner selves, and to reflect on the nature of ‘people’ and ‘life’.  Artistically, the Circus Theatre Group emphasises performance technique as the core of the art of theatre. The actor must blast through inner inhibitions to attain to spaciousness and freedom physically and psychologically.
 
With professionalism and passion, the Circus Theatre Group is dedicated to exploring and learning traditional and contemporary theatre skills, as well as exploring the possibilities ranging from the naturalistic to the expressive. In addition to performances and drama workshops, drama training is also provided to secondary and tertiary students.
