Stage 64
Established in 2009 (20th anniversary of the June 4th incident), Stage 64 is a registered non-profit making theatre organization dedicated to the memory of June 4. We thought that merging civic education and performing arts was a great way to raise awareness of China and Hong Kong democratic development among the general public, especially youths.

Since 2011, Stage 64 has been running school tours for over 9 years.  Over the years, we have staged 252 performances in 107 schools, with an audience totaling around 60,000 students.  The production series is an appropriate supplementary material for Chinese History and Civic Education and Liberal Studies. It is also suitable for students’ Other Learning Experiences.  The production includes Edelweiss, Belief Soar, She was Seventeen, Freedom of the Press, and Xiaobo & Liuxia (new production in 2019).
