Kassandra - oder die Welt als Ende der Vorstellung
Blessing, an African teenage attempted entering Europe in search of the promising land. The journey took her almost five years instead of a month. She met Babaka, another African teenage during the journey. They get on the overloaded rubber boat, longing for new life and bright future can only be found elsewhere. Thousands of refugees stories happening, or all are the same? Are these stories doomed to become tragedies that no one can prevent?
 
Kassandra oder die Welt als Ende der Vorstellung was written by Kevin Rittberger, premiered at the Schauspielhaus Vienna by Felicitas Brucker and invited to the Mülheim Theatertage in 2011.Kevin Rittberger studied German language and literature, journalism and communication studies at the Free University of Berlin. He began directing adaptations at the Staatstheater Stuttgart and the Deutsches Theater in Berlin in 2004, as well as staging his own works at the Deutsches Schauspielhaus in Hamburg. He received a stipend from the German Literary Fund in 2009, and was awarded the Kurt Hübner Prize in 2010.
