Au is the Founder of Blue Hour Theatre, he also is the full-time actor of the Artocrite Theater in 2023-24.
 
He is graduated from the School of Drama, the Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Honours) Degree, majoring in acting. During his HKAPA years, he received the Director’s Award, The Hong Kong Jockey Club Scholarships and the Scholarship of Perseverance etc. His performances in school production included: Antigone on the Beach, The Two Character Play by Tennessee Williams, he was named Outstanding Actor for his performance in Antigone on the Beach.
