LEE Wai Lok
Lee Wai Lok is a playwright and drama tutor.
He graduated from CUHK with a major of Philosophy, and Master Programme of Drama School in the HKAPA, major in Playwriting with Distinction.
He was nominated for Best Script at the 32’s Hong Kong Drama awards, for Script / Playwright of the Year at the IATC(HK) Critics Awards 2023 and for Best Script at the 15th Hong Kong Theatre Libre for Leave him in the dust .
During his studies, he was awarded Cheung Tat Ming Playwriting Scholarship, The Future Playwright Scholarship and The Society of APA Scholarships.
His recent plays included In Hollywood We Trust and Solar Hero by Dramoxic; Stay with the Flow and The Ward by Hong Kong Repertory Theatre; Draft My Life 2.0/1.0 and In Restaurant We Trust by Wedraman; The Odd Couple (adaptation); Let Me Entertain You by Vab; Leave him in the dust by Theatre Formula; Parting is Never Easy by Windmill Grass Theatre; Withered Womb by Chung Ying Theatre Company; So Long… by Guangdong.
