Harvey had awarded BEd(Secondary) majoring in Visual Art by HKEdU before he graduated from HKAPA with a BFA in Acting.
 
Right after his graduation, he was hired by Class 7A Drama Group Ltd. as a full time residence actor and was nominated for Best Supporting Actor(Drama/Tragedy) for his successful portrayal of a young illegal immigrant from mainland China, Zhao Jian, in Cherry Inc., during his residency.
