LAN Chun-chun
A freelance actor, host, and drama instructor, Lan graduated with a B.A. (Comparative Literature) from Hong Kong University, and a B.A. (Performance) from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. Her break-through role was that of Kristal in Exploration Theatre’s Ghosts of Text, for which she was nominated for Best Actress at the 4th Hong Kong Theatre Libre. For the role of Marilyn in Boney Show’s Shall We Die (re-run), she was awarded Best Supporting Actress (Comedy/Farce) at the 27th Hong Kong Drama Awards, and was nominated for Performer of the Year at the IATC(HK) Critics Awards 2017.
 
Since graduating in acting, she has acted in more than thirty stage productions. Recent musical roles include Only Stage’s The Only King 2 and Theater Space’s Company. She was a full-time ensemble member of Chung Ying Theatre from 2014-2016, where she starred in Months on End, The Government Inspector the Musical, the English language drama Jekyll and Hyde, and Spring Fever Hotel.
 
She has starred in short films including Slope (which was Broadway Cinematheque’s Short Films champion, and an official entrant for the International Thai Film Festival), The Disappearing Diaphragm, TVPLUZ.TV’s Love Unlimited and The Winner who does not Gamble, as well as Suicide Prevention Service’s web drama I’m with you etc. Film credits include Raging Fire and Afterimage.
 
In terms of teaching, she is currently the musical instructor / director of the Hong Kong Children's Musical Theatre, the resident drama instructor/director of the Hong Kong Repertory Theatre and the Jockey Club's Singout Outreach  character education musical theatre programme, as well as the assistant director on joint school performances.
