From 2005 onward, he began composing music for theatre productions and subsequently worked on scores for stage works, videos, documentaries, and feature films, while also being active as an actor and singer‑songwriter.
In 2021, his work on the film “Drifting” earned him nominations at both the 58th Golden Horse Awards in Taiwan and the 40th Hong Kong Film Awards for Best Original Film Score and Best Original Film Song. He went on to win Best Original Film Score at the 59th Golden Horse Awards in 2022 for “The Narrow Road.” In the same year, he released his third solo album, “Solace in Nothingness.”
In recent years, his performance credits include the stage productions “Reflector,” “Revolver,” “Waking Dreams in 1984,” “To Dye or Not to Dye,” and “Flowing Warblers,” as well as the films “Drifting” and “I Want to Be a Plastic Chair,” among others.
In 2025, he co‑directed “In A Perfect World” with Lee Wing‑lui.
