Hong Kong DJ, Actor and Director. Kot is well-known as the “Soft Master” of the popular duo Softhard . Apart from radio programmes, he also dabbles in movies, TV dramas, stage plays and voice-overs. Recent performance includes: Windmill Grass Theatre Black Comedy Di-Dar; Movies One Night at School, Yum Investigation, The Lyricist Wannabe etc.; ViuTV Drama Generation Slash.

His accolades in drama and film include being nominated for Best Leading Actor (Comedy/Farce) at the Hong Kong Drama Awards in 2015 for his performance in Academy of Laugher. For his performance in The New Age of Living Together, Kot was nominated for the Best Supporting Actor at the Golden Horse Awards and Hong Kong Film Awards. He was also nominated at the Hong Kong Film Awards for Best Leading Actor for Oh! My Three Guys in 1995, Best Supporting Actor for Love in the Time of Twilight in 1996, nominated at the Golden Horse Awards for Best Supporting Actor for A-1 in 2004.  In 2024, he won the Silver Award for Best Supporting Actor at the Los Angeles Independent Shorts Awards for his role in the short film bric-a-brac.
